Wax Vaporizer

Definition - What does Wax Vaporizer mean?

Wax vaporizers are commonly called wax pens or wax vaporizer pens. The wax vaporizer pen is a small vaporizer that is the size of a pen. In addition to pen sizes, however, wax vaporizers come in many styles such as portable, desktop, and other style dab vaporizers.

Wax vaporizers heat with a conduction or convection system. They are available in several coil options such as the dual rod quart, ceramic coils, or titanium coils. The cannabis wax or concentrate is placed on the coil in a conduction heated wax vaporizer. As the coil heats, it creates a vapor from the cannabis concentrate or wax. The vapor can then easily be inhaled by the user.

Hydrolife explains Wax Vaporizer

Wax vaporizers produce vapor and not smoke. With a wax vaporizer, a convection heating method creates light vapor and is ideal when the user wants to vape discreetly.

These types of vaporizers can hold other substances besides cannabis concentrates. Some have attachments that allow them to use dry herbs instead of concentrates and dabs.

A wax vaporizers are primarily powered by a battery. The battery usually has more than one setting, which enables the user to set the battery to create a vapor or smoke from the marijuana product. The user simply pushes the battery button down to light the coil and heat the product so it creates smoke or vapor. The user can then inhale via the wax vaporizer’s mouthpiece. The user can press and release the battery button several times to attain longer, deeper hits.
